ALPHA IOTA CHAPTER AT UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA- LOS ANGELES
We are so grateful to be closing out such an incredible year! We were able to celebrate 150 years of our sisterhood in November with an incredible Founder Day Celebration inviting alumni. To continue fostering these connections, the alumni mentorship program was established in January allowing for our members to be guided by people who have thrived in the 616 and past.

This year we also saw the epic return of REAL WELLNESS WEEK for the second year in a row. We had the opportunity to work with business around Los Angeles to practice wellness all around. Some of our partners included BARRY'S BOOTCAMP, Barebells, Gorgie, and Halara. We were also able to make bouquets and write letters for a local senior center.

Through the year we worked with and for our philanthropic partner in a multitude of manners. From raising money through events like Moonball, Pie-A-Gphi, and our Tory Burch Partnership. To going and volunteering at the Girls on the Run 5K we are so happy to serve such an amazing organization. We are also so proud of one our members who will be running the Chicago Marathon in October for GOTR.

We can't wait to see what next year brings, but for now we are so excited for all of our GPhi sisters who will be embarking on all sorts of adventures this summer from fabulous internships to studying abroad.

On behalf of the Alpha Iota Chapter, we would like to welcome you to our site! Gamma Phi Beta at UCLA is part of a national sisterhood dating back more than 140 years. The Gamma Phi Beta Sorority is one of the 10 oldest organizations in North America and the first to be called a “sorority.” Founded on November 11, 1874, our sisterhood has continuously dedicated our lives to continuing the vision of our Founder’s since day one.
Lastly, we want to thank you for visiting our site, and we hope that we can give you more insight into what being a Gamma Phi at UCLA is all about!

I feel so fortunate to have such an incredible, supportive group of sisters around me and I have met so many life-long friends through this sisterhood. GPhi has been so valuable to my college experience and I am so excited and honored to serve as a leader to this incredible group of talented, intelligent and kind young women!
